ROWSE WONDERHIVE
A GIANT STRUCTURE - the wonderhive was a walk through interactive experience, designed to showcase the ‘hives for lives’ iniative by rowse honey.
Working with Sense Marketing we created ‘The Wonderhive’, a giant beehive that was exhibited at country shows. The creative team wanted to take visitors on a journey from bee to honey, teaching them of the importance of bees and the part they play in our environment. Using the statistics and information that was provided from Rowse directly, I designed a wrap-around wall made up of hexagonal panels, to tell the story of the Natural Honey making process.
Panels of text were paired with hand-drawn illustrations, graphic elements and areas of relief to make the space feel dynamic and the information easy to digest. The experience finished with a breakoff area lined with real bee-friendly flowers, that invited guests to pledge to help the bees in a fun photo op.
My role included overseeing art direction on site, leading the design and artwork of the hive interior, accompanying merch, uniforms, collateral, and experience logo lock up.
