WESTFIELD x #letsdolondonbetter
A VIRAL RESPONSE TO SADIQ KHAN’S LETS DO LONDON CAMPAIGN, WITH UPLIFTING RESULTS.
Laura Neville, an independent London based maker uploaded an instagram post speaking about how she felt the recently commissioned Hockney piece as part of Sadiq Khan's 'Let's Do London' campaign was a wasted opportunity to champion and promote local creatives who have been most affected by the past year.
She photoshopped her art onto the same space in Picadilly station encouraging other artists to do the same with the hashtag #LetsDoLondonBetter
Laura has now curated a series of artist's work to be featured across the billboards in Westfield over the next couple of months. No photoshop needed!
And I am so incredibly touched to be one of them. My piece focused on bringing a positive message in light of what has been an incredibly tough year.
