vans x coppafeel

a sold out poster design that was exhibited at the house of vans pop up gallery, showcasing illustrators work in support of breast cancer charity coppafeel .

I wanted to create a composition that primarily placed emphasis on the importance of regularly checking your breasts, in a way that steered away from the idea of it being a tiresome or dogmatic. My poster depicted a sultry, self-assured clairvoyant looming over a crystal ball in the form of a breast. Without insinuating that you can predict something as shocking and unforeseeable as breast cancer, I wanted to portray how regular breast screening can help you identify and prevent the worst.
Taking inspiration from the House of Vans partnership, I added subtle illustrative details into the tattoos of the character that felt fitting with the context and the attitude I wanted to convey.
