The Cork Way
bringing ireland to london.
To ‘beermondsey’ actually. a pop-up experience for emerging beer brewery, franciscan well, hosted in bermondsey kitchen, which told the story of the brand by recreating a colourful cork street.
SE1, the area affectionately known to be home to the Bermondsey Beer Mile, seemed like the perfect place to host a beer pop-up for Irish Brewery Franciscan Well.
I worked to execute the concept ‘The Cork Way’ from the creative team at Sense London. Visitors were invited via a ‘postcard’ to join Franciscan Well in launching their brand at exclusive Bermondsey Bar & Kitchen.
Visitors were welcomed through ‘The Archway to the Cork Way’ into a vibrant street recreation lined with bunting.
Taking information about each of the brewerys five beers, I designed full size shop front fascias that introduced visitors to each, offered samples and snack pairings. Additional shop fronts told the story of the brand and the brewery process. The experience was hosted over several nights, inviting users to enjoy the pizza pairings and the Irish themed activities, all while sipping Francican Well and enjoying the live Irish music.
