BLACK ARCH DISTILLERY

CREATING THE IDENTITY FOR NEWLY LAUNCHED GIN, BLACK ARCH.

The Black Arch is a well known landmark on the North East coast of Ireland, locals and vistors alike will have noticed it on their travels along the coastline. So when Black Arch Distillery came to me to create their branding, we knew that making the most of this iconic landmark would be central to the design.
The illustration in a black and white, etching style drawing of the Black Arch itself and this is complimented by the monochrome design of the label.
There are small ‘easter eggs’ within the design and the logo draws on the Arch itself, the ‘A’, designed to become a recognisable standalone logo mark.
