SKY ARTS - LANDMARK

To celebrate the launch of the new Sky Arts TV show Landmark, I was commissioned to create an illustrated map of my home region of Northern Ireland and it’s most incredible landmarks.

Sky approached a number of artists from each of the regions of the UK to drive awareness and create anticipation around the up and coming show Landmark. The aim was to portray some of the incredible existing landmarks in each of the artists unique style.

I included a number of notable places of interest, alongside some of my favourite spots across Northern Ireland. I wanted to work within the general boundaries of the counties and keep the landmarks as close to being geographically correct as I could whilst still making a map that was dynamic, fun and full of movement. I used bright colours and various styles of type to mark the area.
